    IMPACCT Launches New Housing Lottery Training Series

      IMPACCT Brooklyn’s Marketing Team kicked off its housing efforts by hosting the first Affordable Housing Lottery Seminar of the year on January 13, 2016. This event, which drew over 200 participants was held at Uncommon High School’s Pacific Street location. This event was not only the first seminar of the year, but it was also the first at IMPACCT’s new Crown Heights location.

    PACC has a New Name, New Home and New Programs!

    New Name Effective November 13, 2015, Pratt Area Community Council, known as PACC, is changing its name to IMPACCT Brooklyn to emphasize how committed we are to creating a more affordable and economically vibrant Brooklyn for all. New Location In addition, we are excited to announce that we have opened a new office that will serve as our main office and hub for our services. This brings together various administrative functions to serve you better.

  • PACC Completes 73 Million Dollar Project, Saves 492 Affordable Housing Units in the Borough

    PACC continues to be a leader in developing, maintaining and preserving affordable housing in Brooklyn with it most recent endeavor. Thanks to the organization’s tireless work, 56 buildings in Bedford-Stuyvesant will be renovated and remain affordable to the existing tenants for another 30 years. PACC along with L & M Development will able to preserve affordable housing units for hundreds of tenants.

  • Affordable Housing Lottery Workshop Draws Over 300 People

    On the evening of Thursday June 11th, PACC and the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership (DBP) held an affordable housing workshop at the Hanson Place Seventh Day Adventist Church. Over 300 people waited in line to attend the event and participants received an assortment of information on upcoming housing lotteries. While multi-family housing stock in Brooklyn has declined in the past few years, there is a lot of inventory for affordable rentals, coops and condo’s in the pipeline.
